CONCEPT

Magnify the death of innocent lives, some from terrorism, and some from imperialism.

CONTEXT

Chinese ink on paper. Went to Bali by myself on 13 November to surf. Overwhelmed by these feelings of messiness, sadness, and madness when I visited the tribute shrine of the bomb site. Reminds me of all the senseless violence that had happened all around the world. Some without the shrine – systematic fringe bombing of US missiles that carries the “inevitable” excuse of killing innocent civilians as well. Check “ Rogue State”.
