That matriarchy is not the solution to a patriarchy system.

CONCEPT

Using faces of woman to construct a male-looking androgynous face.

CONTEXT

This is drawn using a black marker while reading Foucault’s writings. An androgynous face with beard and moustache composed of many women faces is used to suggest "matriarchy is not the solution to patriarchy." Rather, it is the equality that is to be strived after by rendering the current status of sex meaningless versus abiding by the rules of a patriarchy society's dichotomous gender definitions. This of course is contradicted by the very formation of ‘feminist’ groups which i find necessary!
