CONCEPT

The idea that a mask is a façade that can be weaved.

CONTEXT

The design of the face mask is NOT MINE. It is from an art sheet with all the points laid out clearly for the nails to be hammered and the threads to loop. The importance of this work is the choice of the material and design of the cloth. Like humans, some people go through their daily lives wearing a mask. So by giving this mask like face a clothed 'batik' background, there is a lesser unfamiliar disturbing feelings.
