CONCEPT

To use many different influential birds to create a singular imposing bird..

CONTEXT

This piece is a satire of the mass media. Caricatures of birds are used to present how a single ‘truth’ can be interpreted into diversify ‘facts’ through different sources. It threads on the question of "parts" versus the "whole".

The big bird is a “personification” of the “whole” serves the message with the wisdom of the owl (seen at the tip of the beak) is chattered with other different species of birds forming the entire beak…

I think it will be more cumbersome, but more fairness to listen and account at least two sides to every story prior to a detailed report. This allows the viewer and listener to judge for oneself with more possibility of seeking the ‘truth’.
